TransLogic Eco-Seal

Swisslog (Denver, Colo) recently introduced a new, improved version of its 6-in TransLogic Eco-Seal pneumatic-tube-system carrier. The new carrier has a slightly different-size wear band and sealing ring (O-ring). To distinguish the new TransLogic Eco-Seal from the previous version, the company has switched from green to blue Durabands. The sealing ring has been changed from clear to opaque white. This change will improve health care professionals? ability to visually ensure that the ring is properly in place, as well as to indicate that no contaminants or obstructions are detected. The new TransLogic Eco-Seal carrier continues to advance protection against the spread of pathogens in a pneumatic-tube system and in the work environment.
