Chlorascrub
Professional Disposables International (Orangeburg, NY) recently received FDA approval for Chlorascrub, a new chlorhexidine gluconate?based product. Chlorascrub features 3.15% chlorhexidine gluconate and 70% isopropyl alcohol in premoistened swab, swab-stick, and maxi-swab-stick delivery systems. The product may be used for a variety of antiseptic skin-preparation needs, such as for peripheral intravenous infusions, blood cultures, and minor surgical procedures.
