Organizations Promote Caregiver Education

Published Online: Saturday, January 1, 2005

Family caregivers are the focus of a new public education campaign. The campaign, launched by the National Family Caregivers Association and the National Alliance for Caregiving in partnership with Eisai Inc, wants to advise the growing number of family caregivers of the vital need to acknowledge their caregiver role, its impact on their lives, and their need for help.

The organization's goals with the public service announcements are to have family caregivers recognize and identify with family caregiver issues, realize they are not alone, and for more information visit the caregiver Web site: www.familycaregiving101.org.
