Pharmacists continue to rank among best-paying professions, but competition in the job market is high.

Job site Glassdoor has published their most competitive in-demand jobs with 6-figure salaries, ranking pharmacists 5^th out of the 20 professions listed.

The list ranks professions based on salary and job availability, highlighting careers with the highest average income and least amount of job openings listed on Glassdoor’s website. According to the list, pharmacists reel in a median base salary of $120,000, with only 4,213 job openings on the site. Companies hiring include Safeway, OhioHealth, Angel Medical Center, UnityPoint Health, Mission Healthcare Services, Lincare, Global Counseling International, and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital.
