Registered Pharmacist John T.Lypson, of Bayer’s Pharmacy inYoungwood, Pennsylvania, had difficulty determining the medications being ordered with this prescription. He asked the patient if he knew what the physician had ordered. Because the patient was unsure, Lypson placed a call to the doctor’s office for verification. The physician’s office cleared up the mystery. Do you know what drugs are being prescribed?

Pharmacist Charles Shasky, of Rite Aid #1879 in Richmond, Virginia, had only 1 problem with this prescription—he could not decipher the medication being prescribed. Whereas he had an idea of the medicine being prescribed based on the dosage and administration, Shasky called the prescribing physician’s office for confirmation.
