Kerr Drug Inc is now offering free Spanish-to-English translation services in 11 Charleston, SC, area pharmacies. Available through in-store telephonebased technology, the new service will facilitate regular communication among Kerr Drug registered pharmacists and Spanish-speaking patients.
By dialing the toll-free number, pharmacists and Spanish-speaking patients can automatically be connected with a translator and carry on interactive conversations regarding OTC and prescription medications, as well as other healthrelated issues. The service will also be available for Spanish-speaking patients taking advantage of the regional chain's clinical services and educational programs, including cholesterol screenings, blood pressure checks, flu vaccinations, and skin cancer screenings.
