Rx 1: A patient's parent dropped off this prescription on a weekend to Registered Pharmacist Patricia Jaramillo, of CVS Pharmacy in Buffalo, NY. At first glance, the pharmacy staff did not know what medication was being prescribed. After consultation with the patient's parent, physician, and medication profile, the correct medication and instructions were clarified. The pharmacy staff also discovered that the patient had been on exactly the same antibiotic medication in the past. Do you know what antibiotic was prescribed?
Rx 2: Registered Pharmacist Artie Schmitt, of CVS Pharmacy in Son Lakes, Ariz, has a pretty good track record for deciphering illegible handwriting. This prescription, however, had Schmitt at a loss. The patient's husband dropped off this prescription at the pharmacy. He could not provide Schmitt with any information about this prescription. Schmitt called the prescribing physician's office for confirmation. Can you decipher this prescription?
