Today, we’re celebrating the work of Tony Gerlach, PharmD, a surgical intensive care unit (ICU) pharmacist at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Gerlach has volunteered to work in the ICU on patient care rounds so that his colleagues with small children can work remotely from home. Gerlach also worked with the entire ICU staff to solve various therapy-related issues during the pandemic.

Pharmacy Times® wants to celebrate the amazing pharmacy staff members who are on the front lines every day. Nominate someone in your pharmacy by emailing AAntrim@pharmacytimes.com with their name, position, and why they’re a hero!
