Today, we’re celebrating Edwin Gbenebitse, RPh, who has owned Ashland Pharmacy in Brooklyn, New York, for 21 years. During the pandemic, Gbenebitse has been delivering medication to his sick patients’ homes and staying open for long hours to accommodate as many patients as possible. In addition, despite the stress of the pandemic, Gbenebitse has still been counseling every patient on taking their medications and maintaining their health.

“His patients cannot stop talking about how good of a man he is,” said Francisca Gbenebitse, his wife, in a message to Pharmacy Times®.

Pharmacy Times® wants to celebrate the amazing pharmacy staff members who are on the front lines every day. Nominate someone in your pharmacy by emailing AAntrim@pharmacytimes.com with their name, position, and why they’re a hero!
