PQA's Resource Guide Lays Framework As Opportunity for Different Health Care Settings

Video

The guide is an opportunity to just catalog what else is going on there to kind of be an inspiration for expansion of services.

Pharmacy Times spoke with Richard Schmitz, PQA Chief Engagement Officer, about how the resource guide can be used to address social determinants of health (SDOH).

Schmitz: So the guide is really a set of ideas and examples that pharmacists and other stakeholders in the healthcare system can use to generate their own programs perhaps enhance what they're doing. So, you know, our hope is that people will take it as an opportunity to think about what else is going on in different systems in different care settings. And so it's an opportunity to just catalog what else is going on there to kind of be an inspiration for expansion of services.
