In this video, 3 student pharmacists from the Skaggs School of Pharmacy discuss bisphosphonate medications prescribed for osteoporosis and other conditions. They explain administration of the medication, scheduling of doses, and how to proceed in the case of a missed dose. They also explain common side effects and adverse effects of the medication that may require a physician or pharmacist consult.
