Candy “Refills.” Pharmacist: “What name are you picking up for?” Patient: “I just need to buy this candy bar.”

Requests for Loans. Patient: “I ran out of hydrocodone refills. Can you loan me a few?”

No Respect for Privacy. Patient: “What’s the harm in standing right behind the customer at the counter?” Pharmacist: “Have you heard of the HIPAA Privacy Rule?”
