  • State the appropriate patient population and associated risk factors for opioid overdose.
  • Identify resources and tools that support the pharmacist’s discussion with health care providers, patients, and caregivers regarding opioid overdose.
  • Review the key characteristics of the emergency opioid rescue auto-injection device.
