Insurers’ Crystal Ball Systems.
I hate it when a patient says, “My insurance allows me to get the flu vaccine for free! Here’s my card.” Then we process the claim with the information on the card, and the insurance company’s computer system will not pay for the claim unless we create a totally new insurance code and drop a digit from the ID#! We have a sophisticated computer—not a crystal ball!

e-Instructions.
I love e-scripts that say “Take 1 capsule daily,” and it is a suppository.

Panicked Parents.
When we are out of a CII that a child needs, and the parent says, “But she/he will die without it.” No, they won’t. I promise you.

What’s bothering you? Pharmacy Times wants to know.
