The neatly typed portion of this prescription is such a tease; why bother typing if the other half is illegible? After trying to decipher the hastily scrawled addition, pharmacy technicians Paola Efron, CPhT, and Sara Long, CPhT, of CVS Pharmacy in Chicago, Illinois, threw in the towel and picked up the phone.

Chet Shah, RPh, of Rx Pharmacy in New Hyde Park, New York, is no stranger to messy physician handwriting, but looking at this script made his eyes cross. He had to take the extra time to call the prescriber’s office in order to fill it. Do you know what drug is being prescribed?
