Health care professionals are urging adults to take a more active role in their overall health. In an effort to prompt more involvement, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Advertising Council have launched a national public service announcement (PSA) campaign.
The campaign, "Questions Are the Answer: Get More with Your Health Care," encourages patients (and caregivers) to take responsibility for their health by asking questions. Audiences will see television, radio, print, and Web advertising that directs them to call a toll-free number and to visit the AHRQ Web site.
