can you READ these Rxs?
Rx 1: Registered Pharmacist Steve Breslin of
Phoenixville Hospital Pharmacy in Phoenixville,
Pa, was baffled when this prescription came
into the pharmacy. He consulted several
coworkers about the medication being
ordered. Finally, he faxed the script to the prescribing
physician's office for clarification.
Can you solve this mystery prescription?
Rx 2: Registered Pharmacist Diana R. Roderick and her
staff at CVS Pharmacy in LaVale, Md, knew this prescription
had 3 orders for medications. They had
no trouble identifying the first 2 scripts. The third
script, however, presented a challenge. Although
the staff enjoys a challenging prescription, they
decided to call the prescribing physician for
verification of all 3 drugs because they did not
want to keep the patient waiting. Can you
identify all 3 medications being ordered?
