Rx 1:
Registered Pharmacist Laura Blankenship of
Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Mexia, Tex, was not surprised
to see another script from this prescribing
physician. It is par for the course from this local
doctor when writing prescriptions—illegible
handwriting. Blankenship followed the normal
procedure for this physician's scripts and
called the office to clarify the medications
being ordered. Can you identify this drug?
Rx 2:
Registered Pharmacists Jeanne H. Erickson and
Margo Arnesen and Eileen Glad, CPhT, of Warroad
Heritage Pharmacy in Warroad, Minn, were completely
stumped by this prescription. They made
several attempts to decode this prescription with
no success. Eventually, they called the prescribing
physician's office for verification. A nurse at
the office said they were used to getting calls
about scripts written by this particular doctor.
Can you unscramble this prescription?
