Share Your Pharmacy Pet Peeves

It is no secret that pet peeves come with any profession. Pharmacy Times wants to know your pharmacy pet peeves. In each issue of our ePharmacy Times newsletter, we will post pharmacists' complaints. Perhaps you'll identify with one and nod your head in agreement because you're not alone. Please e-mail your complaints to Eileen Koutnik-Fotopoulos at ekoutnik@ascendmedia.com. Here are some pet peeves pharmacists have submitted:

1. Spending so much time on the phone with PBMs

2 Having to call physicians to translate illegible prescriptions

3. Dealing with patients who want their prescriptions filled in 45 seconds flat

4. Trying to reach physicians who refuse to take calls from pharmacists

5.Wading through paperwork from Medicare Part D plan providers because each plan is different counseling
