Baxa Corp recently opened its state-of-the-art STAR (Skills Training, Academics and Resources) Center for pharmacy and clean room skills training.

The Englewood, Colo-based company designed and built the STAR Center as a fully US Pharmacopeia <797>-compliant pharmacy clean room to provide professional education on pharmacy practice, clean room principles, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

"The STAR Center provides pharmacies with an unparalleled opportunity to improve performance and regulatory compliance," stated Pete Campanella, PharmD, director of professional services for Baxa. "However, the facility has application for other related industries for training in best practices. We are working with pharmaceutical manufacturers, clean room certifiers, and others."
