Autodrop and Autosqueeze

EPS Inc (Ivyland, Pa) has introduced the Autodrop and Autosqueeze instillation aids for patients who require ophthalmic preparations but have difficulty taking them. The Autodrop device clips onto the majority of eyedrop bottles and holds the bottle at the correct angle over the eye. A small lip holds the lower eyelid open to prevent blinking, while a unique pinhole directs the eyesight upward, away from the descending drops. The Autosqueeze device helps patients with weak or arthritic fingers easily grasp and dispense ophthalmic medication. The product works by simply clipping the dropping bottle into the device and squeezing to administer the drops. Autodrop and Autosqueeze can be used together to further ease medication dispensing. The products also can be used throughout the entire course of therapy. For more information, visit www.medidose.com, or call 800-523-8966.
