NACDS APPOINTS NEW LEADER

Steven C. Anderson, IOM, CAE, has been appointed president and chief executiveofficer of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS). He will take the helmon February 23. Anderson, who served as president and chief executive officer of theNational Restaurant Association, is replacing Robert W. Hannan. Hannan has beenserving as interim president and chief executive officer for the past 10 months.
