DRUG COMPANY OFFERS SAVINGS FOR PART D ENROLLEES

AstraZeneca recently launched AZ Medicine &Me for Medicare Part D beneficiaries who may havedifficulty affording their medications. Individualswho qualify and enroll will be able to visit their participatinglocal pharmacy and receive immediatesavings on AstraZeneca products.
To qualify for the program, an individual mustmeet the following criteria:
- Enroll in Medicare Part D
- Have an annual individual income at or below$30,000 (or an annual income at or below$40,000 per couple)
- Take AstraZeneca medications
- Have spent at least 3% of annual householdincome on prescription drugs during the calendaryear
Individuals who qualify for the program will pay nomore than $25 for a typical 30-day supply of theirAstraZeneca medicine and will receive the assistanceat the pharmacy counter immediately.
