SPECIFICATIONS

LENGTH: Approximately 1000-1500 words, unless otherwise agreed on beforehand.

TITLE PAGE: Should include article title, all authors' full names and academic degrees, titles, affiliations, city and state. For articles by more than one author, indicate the corresponding author's name, address, daytime telephone number, and fax number.

TEXT: Should be typed double-space, with subheadings inserted where appropriate.

TABLES AND CHARTS: Should appear as separate documents, numbered, and titled.

ABBREVIATIONS: Unless widely recognized, they should not be used. If used, they should be written out the first time that they are used in the text, eg, National Institutes of Health and Prevention (NIH).

PHOTOS AND OTHER ARTWORK: Color or black-and-white prints, transparencies or illustrations may be submitted. Please provide suggested caption and identify any individuals shown by name and title.

REFERENCES: Should be listed at end of manuscript and in order of appearance in text; please proofread beforehand to be certain that there are no missing or duplicate references and that all references are in numerical order within the text. Please do not use footnote or endnote feature on your word processing program. Include reference numbers in the body of the manuscript. Occasionally, references will not be included with an article due to space limitations; however, a complete reference list MUST still be included with the completed manuscript. HONORARIUMS: Honorariums will be paid upon submission based on article length.

INTERNET: Please be aware that when an article is accepted for print that the term "print" includes online publication on the Pharmacy Times Web site.

REPRINT PERMISSION: Must be received in writing by the author if using any information (e.g., tables, charts, or data) that is copyrighted by another individual or company (i.e., already published). A copy of such reprint permission must accompany submitted manuscript.
