2014 Next-Generation PharmacistTM Awards
The Next-Generation PharmacistTM awards program, co-founded by Pharmacy Times and Parata Systems, is now in its fifth year. This national awards program honors pharmacists, technicians, students, and industry advocates who are defining the future of pharmacy. Since 2010, more than 100 pharmacy leaders have been named finalists or winners.

Nominations for the 2014 awards program are now closed. Nominees in 10 different award categories, described below, will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges chaired by Pharmacy Times Editor-in-Chief Fred Eckel. Up to 3 finalists will be named in each award category, and all finalists will be featured in the July 2014 issue of Pharmacy Times and on www.pharmacytimes.com. In addition to the 10 category winners, one pharmacist winner will be named the 2014 “Next-Generation Pharmacist,” the program’s top honor, and will be featured on the cover of Pharmacy Times.

The Next-Generation PharmacistTM awards will be presented on Sunday, August 24, 2014, at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts, concurrent with the National Association of Chain Drug Stores’ Total Store Expo.
In addition to the traditional awards program, the 2014 Next-Generation Pharmacist program will host a panel of experts dedicated to sharing their vision about the future of pharmacy, including the growing role of pharmacists in the value-driven health care system. More details will be announced at a later date.

See Official Rules at http://nextgenerationpharmacist.com/awards/official-rules/ for additional eligibility restrictions, prize descriptions, restrictions, and complete details. Sponsors: Pharmacy and Healthcare Communications, LLC and Parata Systems, LLC (“Sponsor “ or “Sponsors”).
