In an interview with Pharmacy Times at the Pharmacy Development Services (PDS) 2022 conference, Dan Benamoz, RPh, founder and executive chairman of PDS, and Chip Phillips, CEO, discussed their plans for the meeting and what they're focused on for the future of pharmacy.

Benamoz said the core themes of the conference—remote patient management programs, point of care testing expansion, pharmacy marketing, performance-based DIR fee mitigation, and procurement and cost of goods—are the major issues that he hears discussed by independent pharmacy owners today. Both Benamoz and Phillips also said that they are incredibly excited to connect in person again this year, after 2 years of virtual conferences.
